Changes in facial volume, structure, and skin support are a natural part of aging. Dermal filler can be used to restore subtle volume, enhance selected contours, and improve facial balance.
At ERA Aesthetics, filler is never one-size-fits-all. Your facial anatomy, proportions, natural movement, treatment history, and goals are carefully assessed before product selection and placement are recommended.
Filler should complement your features, not compete with them.
Personal. Thoughtful. Never rushed.
We'll begin by discussing your concerns, aesthetic goals, previous treatments, and what you hope to achieve.
Your facial anatomy, proportions, symmetry, and natural movement are then carefully assessed. Together, we'll develop a treatment plan designed specifically for you.
Topical numbing may be used when appropriate, and many hyaluronic acid fillers contain lidocaine for additional comfort. Mild swelling, tenderness, redness, or bruising can occur afterward.
Not every concern requires filler. If another treatment, or no treatment at all, is more appropriate, that will be part of the conversation.
A little preparation goes a long way.
Please contact ERA Aesthetics before your appointment if you are currently ill, have a recent or active infection, are taking antibiotics or oral steroids, have had recent dental work or are planning to have dental work, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have experienced a significant change in your health or medications.
Depending on your circumstances, treatment may need to be postponed.
That isn't the goal at ERA Aesthetics. Treatment is planned conservatively and customized to your anatomy, with an emphasis on proportion, balance, and subtle enhancement.
There is no standard amount that is right for everyone. The appropriate amount depends on your anatomy, treatment area, desired result, and treatment history.
Different fillers have different properties. Product selection is individualized based on the treatment area, anatomy, and desired result.
You may feel pressure, pinching, or brief discomfort. Topical anesthetic may be used when appropriate, and many hyaluronic acid fillers contain lidocaine.
Many hyaluronic acid fillers can be treated with hyaluronidase when clinically appropriate. Your provider can discuss whether this is indicated in your situation.
We recommend scheduling treatment at least two weeks before important events or travel so swelling or bruising has time to resolve and your result can settle.
Dermal filler isn’t about adding volume everywhere. It’s about understanding your anatomy, identifying where treatment will make a meaningful difference, and using the appropriate product and amount to create greater balance. Thoughtfully placed. Beautifully balanced. Still you.
